Work With Us

We’re always keen to hear from talented and capable people who are interested in working with us, particularly Cambodian nationals.
SeeBeyondBorders has a relatively small workforce, the majority of whom are employed in Cambodia, involved in implementing our education programs. We also have a small number of staff in our Australian and UK offices where they’re largely involved in administration, finance and fundraising.  Approximately one quarter of our workforce is made up of volunteers.
All vacancies, for both permanent and volunteer positions, are posted on this site.  If you are interested in the work of SeeBeyondBorders, but don’t see a suitable vacancy listed, please send your CV to us at [email protected]

Volunteering opportunities

  • ពាក្យស្នើសុំបម្រើការជាអ្នកស្ម័គ្រចិត្តនៅអង្គការទស្សនៈឥតព្រំដែនកម្ពុជា
Since it began, the work of SeeBeyondBorders has been driven largely by the selfless and skilled work of volunteers. We continue to provide opportunities for individuals with specific skills and experience to volunteer their time in Cambodia or from wherever they are in the world. We continue to welcome skilled candidates on focused short-term consultancies, or longer-term assignments of up to 12 months, to support our team in Cambodia. From time-to-time, we look for skills and experience in disciplines such as project management, monitoring and evaluation, IT, financial management, marketing, communications, fundraising, proposal writing, donor management, policy development, compliance, governance, statistics, data management, teaching and human resources. We also employ volunteers in our offices in Australia and the UK, particularly those with experience in areas such as fundraising, administration, human resources, IT and events management.

Teacher volunteers

For a number of years, we’ve also invited teachers to join us in Cambodia for a two-week volunteering experience, helping us deliver teacher training workshops to strengthen the development of Cambodian teachers. As we develop the skills and capabilities or our Cambodian staff, we expect the reliance on international teachers to decline, however, we are always interested in hearing from teachers with an interest in joining us as volunteers.

Details of specific volunteering opportunities will be posted on this site, however, we’d be interested in hearing from you at any time. If you are interested in volunteering in Cambodia please send your CV to us at [email protected]. If you are interested in volunteering in Australia please send your CV to us at [email protected]

Teacher volunteers

  • SeeBeyondBorders Connect Ireland Program – 25th July to 17 August 2024.

For a number of years, we have invited teachers to join us in Cambodia for a two/three-weeks volunteering experience, helping us deliver teacher training workshops to strengthen the development of Cambodian teachers.

We are delighted to introduce our Connect Program. The Connect Program aims to bring together primary school educators from around the world to exchange ideas and possibilities with Cambodian educators.

Teachers from Australia, UK and Ireland apply to be part of the 16-19 days exchange and approximately ten teachers are accepted to take part in August every year.

Over two/three weeks exchange candidates will share their experience, education and knowledge through a dedicated mentoring program. It’s the perfect opportunity to combine professional development, travel and volunteering while sharing the uniqueness of each other’s culture.

  • To improve educational skill, knowledge and confidence of SeeBeyondBorders staff, Cambodian teachers, leaders and changemakers through the exchange of experiences, ideas and possibilities with international experts.
  • To increase understanding about quality development practices, limitations with downstream development and white saviour approaches and the importance of learning service over voluntourism in international participants.
  • To develop an alumni of international expertise with cultural experience that SeeBeyondBorders can utilise through a community of practise with.

If you are interested in joining our next Connect Program Trip, please complete the express of interest form. If you have any further questions regarding this, reach out to us at [email protected]

Details of specific volunteering opportunities will be posted on this site, however, we’d be interested in hearing from you at any time.
