Supporters gather in Sydney to hear from our CEO, Ed Shuttleworth

We were delighted to welcome 80 of our Australian supporters to the Mosman Art Gallery last night to share updates about our work in Cambodia over wine and cheese.

We were really pleased that Jacinta Tynan from Sky News Australia came along and interviewed our CEO, Ed Shuttleworth, providing an entertaining and thought-provoking exchange that was enjoyed by everyone. It went so well that Jacinta is going to interview Ed live on Sky News Australia on Saturday at 7.30pm – be sure to tune in and watch!

The evening gave us an opportunity to highlight a few ways that people can support us and we would like to say a big thank you to Victoria French from KazCapital and Victoria Wade from Deloitte (pictured below) for signing up runners for the Sydney Running Festival. We look forward to hearing about your training and fundraising, and will be available to support you every step of the way!

People were also very interested to learn more about our award-winning mentoring program and the opportunity to sponsor the training and support of a mentor for a year. Thank you to Lou Foodey and Fiona Yates from the Sydney office for manning the mentoring desk!

If you would like to find out more about sponsoring a mentor, or joining the SeeBeyondBorders running team, please email us at [email protected].

Thank you very much to everyone for coming along and helping to make the event such an enormous success!
