Make a splash for Cambodian children!

This December, SeeBeyondBorders Australia Fundraising Ambassador, Carrington Blake, will swim 2.2kms in the open ocean to raise much needed funds for SeeBeyondBorders. Carrington aims to raise $50,000 and, for every dollar donated to his campaign page, his employer, Macquarie Bank, will match the donation giving SeeBeyondBorders up to $100,000 in funds!

These funds are vital to SeeBeyondBorders’ COVID-19 recovery projects.

Schools in Cambodia are reopening after a staggering 55 weeks of closures due to COVID-19. This is more than a year and a half of school missed. The majority of Cambodian teachers do not have the training to be able to tackle this.

With funds raised from this campaign, SeeBeyondBorders will train teachers to address gaps in learning for children caused by school closures and lack of access to online learning opportunities.

There is a very small window for SeeBeyondBorders to implement projects to help restart education in Cambodia and  ensure that Cambodian children receive what all children deserve – a quality education.

How can you help?

  1. Donate to the campaign, if you can. Remember every donation is matched, so every donation is doubly valuable.

2. Share the campaign page with your friends and family on social media.

3. Support SeeBeyondBorders’ work through your business, local school or organisation with a sponsored event or as the beneficiaries of a Christmas, tax deductible donation. We are always happy to discuss new potential partnerships, no matter how small. All enquiries can be directed to [email protected].
