Preliminary results show great improvements in student and teacher results

It’s school holiday time in Cambodia, but at SeeBeyondBorders it’s a busy time as we finalise test results and conduct annual program reviews.  Evaluation is a critical element of our programs, and we have in place a rigorous testing regime for teachers, mentors and students. Preliminary results show significant improvements in the skills of teachers, and the mentors who support them. The results for students are also very encouraging. More 

Cambodia’s poor human capital scores reflect ongoing problems in education

Broad-based improvements in education are critical to sustainable, inclusive growth. In the latest Global Human Capital Index, Cambodia improved its ranking, but fell behind its near neighbours. The work of NGOs like SeeBeyondBorders should help to improve Cambodia’s standing in future, however, systemic change in public education is required to deliver significant improvements.  More

Sustainability in action: A mentor and his colleagues arrange their own workshop  

A SeeBeyondBorders' trained mentor initiates a workshop in response to a need amongst teachers for additional training and support. Mr Dul organized and conducted a workshop without assistance, and all participants gave up their own time to attend the training, and without payment. More

Australian Government funding helps SeeBeyondBorders expand

We achieved a milestone recently with accreditation from the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFAT). The ANCP is a Government initiative that supports accredited Australian NGOs, and any organisation seeking funding must undergo a due diligence process. This is a significant achievement for us it recognises the soundness of SeeBeyondBorders’ governance, financial management, child protection, and monitoring and evaluation processes. More

We’ve recently launched a unique program combining transformative leadership team coaching with a visit to Cambodia. It brings together a life changing immersive experience working with SeeBeyondBorders in Cambodia, and concentrated team and individual coaching. This unique program will challenge and engage teams and deliver real business results.
