Supper Club Success in London
On November 25th a group of ex volunteers from our corporate partners Aberdeen Asset Management held SeeBeyondBorders’ very first Supper Club in London - and what a triumph it was!
We would like to thank everyone who participated - from the volunteers who worked tirelessly to organise it, to all who bought a ticket and enjoyed the evening!
Brixton East 1871 was filled to the brim with people enjoying Dram & Smoke’s delectable cuisine paired with a drink or two! The venue provided a beautiful backdrop for this special event and there was a real buzz about SeeBeyondBorders’ work - the cause that brought everyone together.
Everybody was treated to a presentation from Robyn, SeeBeyondBorders’ trustee and former volunteer. Robyn spoke unassumingly, conveying a powerful message about the need for access to quality education in Cambodia and the worthiness of what SeeBeyondBorders does. This clearly did not fall on deaf ears as we are delighted to announce that the Supper Club has raised over £2,500! Check our Facebook page for more photos from the evening.
