On school opening day, we aim to involve parents more in their child’s learning

Parent participation is really important for schools, but communication between school and parents is always a difficult issue. This year, SeeBeyondBorders’ teachers are focussed on encouraging parents to get more involved in their children’s schooling.

This image shows a teacher working with parents in small groups to help them understand some easy ways to monitor their children’s learning. Even though some of the parents cannot read, the teachers show them how they still can support their children’s learning.
