Cosy up at the Supper Club for SeeBeyondBorders in London
We’re thrilled that a group of ex volunteers are organising a fabulous Supper Club in London to raise money for SeeBeyondBorders! Join us on November 25th for a three-course feast courtesy of Scottish pop-up dining duo Dram & Smoke.
You’ll also hear from volunteers who have worked in Cambodia with SeeBeyondBorders to learn more about how you can get involved our life-changing education work.
This time last year, a staff group from our corporate partners Aberdeen Asset Management came to visit us in Cambodia and help us to implement the programs their organisation is supporting. We were bowled over by their enthusiasm and their willingness to roll up their sleeves and get involved in our work. Now, to mark the one year anniversary of their trip, the group are organising a pop-up Supper Club event to continue their support. In their own words: “We truly believe in SeeBeyondBorders and the amazing work that they do.”
We hope you’ll come along and treat yourself to a hearty meal (and a cocktail or two) in support. Our volunteers have teamed up with Dram & Smoke, who have earned quite a reputation in London for serving up delicious Scottish-themed feasts in unusual pop-up venues. With a mouth watering menu featuring Potted Mackerel, Beef Shin Pie, and Vanilla and Bramble Panacotta, it’s sure to be a gastronomic adventure. The wonderful Brixton East venue in South London will provide the perfect backdrop to this good old fashioned knees up, where you’ll share food and drinks with friends under festive string lighting adorning exposed beams. Bon appetit!
