Corporate programme launch Corporate programme launch

By Catherine Franklin -

SeeBeyondBorders recently launched its 2012 Corporate Social Responsibility programme.

SeeBeyondBorders launched its 2012 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme on 2nd November with a corporate briefing and lunch attended by 14 CSR representatives from various local and international businesses based in Sydney. The lunch was generously hosted by Macquarie Bank. Ed Shuttleworth and Andy Wade introduced attendees to the work of SeeBeyondBorders and discussed the options for getting involved either through donating or corporate volunteering while attendees enjoyed a buffet lunch and a glass of wine. A representative from the Macquarie SeeBeyondBorders fundraising team endorsed the programme by saying that working together to fundraise had not only bonded his team but also developed relationships with colleagues from other departments outside the workplace, enhancing cross departmental relations. Feedback from the briefing was extremely positive with all attendees showing an interest in getting involved. We are now in discussion with all parties to establish tailored donation packages based on their individual CSR programmes. We hope to formalise a number of corporate partnerships early in the New Year. SeeBeyondBorders will be holding its next corporate briefing in March 2012. If you are interested in learning more about our programme and would like to attend our next briefing, please contact: catherine [at] seebeyondborders.org or call (02) 9960 7077. csr launch
