In 2011 SeeBeyondBorders funded the construction of an open well in Phnom Kpaus for the whole village to use, as well as the school.  In the dryer season the water level can be found at about 15-25 metres deep.  The well is 30-35 metres deep and constructed from metal materials for durability.
